"Wayne Mills" is the Nottingham sextet's first single of 2015, taken from their album London's Leaving Me. The single is a summery blend of Scottish and indie-pop featuring jangly guitars, analog synths, rich orchestration, and sun-soaked harmonies. The song features a guest appearance from Andy Mellon (Bellowhead, Damon Albarn) on trumpet.

The single is backed with the previously unreleased American Analog Set-tinged "Viktor Tsoi Lives On" and a version of Wayne Mills originally recorded direct to vinyl on Jack White's 1940's vocal booth at Third Man Records in Nashville.

This is an unbiased review. That being said...I fell in love with Beth Arzy's voice the first time I listened to Aberdeen. I could listen to Beth sing the instruction manual for a dishwasher. But I'm grateful she's surrounded by talented and totally capable band mates instead. I'd rate Misplaced Words 4.6 out of 5. And had a devil of a time picking a favorite track. Tomorrow I might pick a different one as they're all very good. My biggest complaint is the album is over way too quick. CEF121
